Confirmation

This is a course of foundational Christian teaching using Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. This, of course, means that it will come from the Lutheran perspective, but other perspectives are discussed so that the studeent gets a well-rounded introduction to the Christian faith. It is designed to give children approaching adulthood (usually middle school) a grown-up level introduction to the Christian faith. In the Lutheran tradition, this course concludes with students confirming for themselves the promises of faith and life that were made on their behalf when they were baptized as infants. Confirmation students are not required to participate in the Rite of Confirmation.

While designed for middle school students, this course is a great detailed introduction to the Christian Faith from the Lutheran perspective for anyone who wants to learn and grow.
