  • From Ann Bergelt Patrick passed away earlier this evening after a long battle after another stroke and many days in hospitals. Our family is heartbroken to lose another loved member. I hope all our friends and his will remember him by his smile, loving attitude and times spent together. He and his dad are together again. Thank you for all your concerns over the past weeks. Prayers are much appreciated.

  • Do I believe in miracles? The atoms of which I am made are over 99% empty space. So, statistically, I don't even exist. There are more organisms hitching a ride on my body than the number of molecules that make up my body. Even the body of which I am made is roughly 2/3 water. Yet, here I am, a bag of water sending a complicated thought message through a worldwide communications network that allows almost anyone to see and respond to this thought that occurred in my brain. I don't just believe in miracles. It's all miracle.

  • Please pause and pray for Patrick Bergelt and the whole Bergelt family. From Ann: Family has been called to hospital, sitting with Patrick. Apparently another stroke. Doing tests, next step possibly hospice. Please pray for us all, but especially a fast resolution to this situation for him. If you are not sure how to pray, I encourage you to use the prayer I have included below. Grace and peace, Pastor John --------------------------------------------------------------- Father in Heaven, You are our loving creator, our great physician, and our caring redeemer. Look with favor on your beloved, Patrick Bergelt. If you are calling him home, minimize his pain and discomfort in the process. If his path is to be healed, speed him along that path. We pray for Patrick and the entire Bergelt family to feel a sense of peace from your presence and our love. Guide the entire treatment team to minister to Patrick with both caring and competence. We entrust Patrick and the Bergelt family to your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.
